    Faith Builders Club for Kids 2025-2026

    Parents and grandparents are invited to join their children and grandchildren at our Faith Builders Club for Kids on the first Sunday of each month October through March at the 10:00 am Mass at Holy Family Church. In this short, 15-minute program, kids will watch a video lesion and make a craft to take home with them. The 2025-2026 year's topics will be as follows: October 5: Pilgrims of Hope for the Jubilee Year November 2: St. Francis Cabrini December 7: St. Nicholas (Take-home) January 4: Epiphany: The Magi’s Adoration February 1: Blessed are the Pure of Heart March 1: St. John the Evangelist Summer Take-home: Our Lady of Fatima

    First Saturday Devotion

    Join us at the 8:00 am Mass at Holy Family on the First Saturday of the month for the Five First Saturdays Devotion. The Five First Saturdays Devotion is one of the principal points on the urgent need for mankind to offer reparation and expiate for the many injuries that the Immaculate Heart of Mary suffers from the hands of both the impious and the indifferent man. The devotion consists of: going to Confession; receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion; saying five decades of the Rosary; and mediating for 15 minutes on the mysteries of the Rosary.

    Advent Talks: Live Advent

    Join our Holy Family Priest Team on Thursdays this December from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at Holy Family Church to learn how you can live out the joy of Advent through its symbols, traditions, and more! Talks will be recorded and posted online at a later date. On December 4, parents attending our Advent Priest Talk can bring their children to Holy Family Hall, where they will take an amazing journey into scripture with Jesus to experience the “Annunciation”. This hands-on interactive experience will make the story come alive and help focus on the true meaning of Advent. While this program is geared towards families with children in grades K-5, all are welcome! Talks are as follows: December 4 with Fr.     The Holy Family High School Youth Group will enjoy a potluck and games, as well as have the opportunity to ask priests questions this October!   On Wednesday, October 8, the whole family is invited to attend Faith & Family Night, beginning with a family potluck in Sacred Heart School Gym at 5:30 pm - please bring a dish to pass! At 6:30 pm, join us for games in the Sacred Heart School Basement or help to babysit children as parents attend our Building Your Domestic Church Parent Sessions in Sacred Heart Hall.   On Wednesday, October 22, Fr. Ryan and Fr. Fernando will answer your questions, be they questions that you've always wanted to ask or questions you've been afraid to ask, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm in Sacred Heart School Hall.

    All interested and committed to serving as a lector at any of our churches for the next liturgical year should attend our lector training on Thursday, November 13 at 6:00 pm in Holy Family Church. Continuing lectors should bring their new lector books along with them for this session. New lectors are welcome. If you’d like to lector this year but are unable to attend, please contact Michelle O’Brien at michelleo@hffdl.org. A link with recorded session will be shared with all those unable to attend.
