  • Women’s Ministry Kick-Off

    Women of the parish are invited to attend our Women’s Ministry Kick-off on Thursday, September 11! The night will begin with the Rosary and Mass with Fr. Matthew Kirk, followed by refreshments and a social in the Hall. Mary Carol Zunker, Holy Family parishioner, will share her journey in establishing the recitation of the Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary as part of her daily routine. Kevin will discuss the Catechesis on the Mass, the actions and gestures behind the Mass; active participation in the Mass; how we pray with the Mass; and our role in it. The program is expected to last about 45 minutes.

    Our new crucifix has arrived at Holy Family Church! Through the generosity of our benefactors, our new crucifix was designed to fit harmoniously within the church’s architecture and will be suspended over the altar, so it is visible to all entering the church. In celebration of Pentecost, we will bless the new crucifix at the 4:00 pm Mass on Saturday, June 7. We hope you will join us for this celebration!

    Men’s Group – That Man is You!

    You are invited to join dozens of men every Wednesday morning from 5:30 to 7:00 am in the Holy Family North Hall, 271 Fourth Street Way, for Men’s Group January 8 to April 30, 2025.   The St. Ambrose Men’s Group hosts “That Man is You – Apostle of the New Springtime” every Wednesday. The morning includes a full breakfast, a video for the program at 6:00 am, and a small group discussion.   That Man is You! honestly addresses the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers. The program harmonizes current social and medical science with the teachings of the Church and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of man fully alive!   No registration is required – you can join at any time!   • Divine Mercy Sunday

    Join us at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way, on Sunday, April 27 for Divine Mercy Sunday, a celebration of our Lord's mercy given to us through the Paschal Mystery of Jesus Christ. The afternoon will include Reconciliation from 1:30 to 4:00 pm, Adoration from 2:00 to 3:30 pm (beginning after Spanish Mass), and the Divine Mercy Chaplet from 3:30 to 4:00 pm. Mass will not be part of the celebration. To reduce long lines for Reconciliation, please try to go Reconciliation 20 days before or after the feast day.
