Human Concerns
Human Concerns Overview
Human Concerns staff support the Holy Family Catholic Community congregation during times of trauma, illness, divorce, and death, as well as seek to increase awareness around various topics, such as health, human trafficking, addiction, helping those experiencing homelessness, and assisting those who newly immigrated to the area. The department oversees Masses and Communion services to local nursing homes, as well as the Ministry to the Dying and Grieving, which includes funeral preparation and Anointing of the Sick. In addition, Human Concerns organizes religious education and Liturgy of the Word to local prisons.
