Holy Days of Obligation for the 2024-2025
Friday, November 1, 2024 – All Saints Day
Sunday, December 8, 2024 – The Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary – celebrated on Monday, December 9 (although falling on a Monday, it remains a Holy Day of Obligation)
Wednesday, January 1, 2025 – Solemnity of Mary, The Holy Mother of God
In anticipation – Tuesday, December 31
- 4:00 pm – Sacred Heart Church
Day of Solemnity – Wednesday, January 1, 2025
- 8:00 am – Holy Family
- 12:00 pm – Sacred Heart
- 12:00 pm (Spanish) – Holy Family
Wednesday, March 5, 2025 – Ash Wednesday
Thursday, Friday, Saturday, April 17-19 – Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday (Triduum)(while these are not Holy Days of Obligation, their significance in the formation of the church and as part of the Passion of the Lord, special Masses and prayer services are offered to allow the community to come together at this very holy time of the liturgical year.)
Sunday, April 20, 2025- Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord
Friday, August 15, 2025 – The Solemnity of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Saturday, November 1, 2025 – All Saints Day (not a Holy Day of Obligation as it falls on a Saturday)
