Holy Days of Obligation for the 2023-2024

Wednesday, November 1, 2023 – All Saints Day

Thursday, November 2, 2023 (NOT a Holy Day of Obligation) – All Souls Day

Friday, December 8, 2023 – The Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Monday, January 1, 2024 – Solemnity of Mary, The Holy Mother of God  (Not  a Holy Day of Obligation in 2024 as it falls on a Monday)

Wednesday, February 14, 2024 – Ash Wednesday

Thursday, Friday, Saturday, March 27-29 – Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday (Triduum)(while these are not Holy Days of Obligation, their significance in the formation of the church and as part of the Passion of the Lord, special Masses and prayer services are offered to allow the community to come together at this very holy time of the liturgical year.)

Sunday, March 30, 2024- Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord

Thursday, May 9, 2024 – Ascension of the Lord

Thursday, August 15, 2024 – The Solemnity of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

• 12:00 pm at Sacred Heart
• 6:30 pm at Sacred Heart
• 7:00 pm in Spanish at Holy Family

Please join us for an all-night adoration vigil of the Blessed Sacrament beginning on Wednesday, August 14 following the 6:00 pm Mass at Sacred Heart. Adoration will continue through the night and conclude with benediction prior to the 12:00 pm Mass at Sacred Heart the next day, Thursday, August 15.

Misa de Vigilia – el miércoles 14 de agosto

Solemnidad de la Asunción de la Santísima Virgen María – el jueves 15 de agosto

• 12:00 pm en Sagrado Corazón
• 6:30 pm en Sagrado Corazón
• 7:00 pm en español en Sagrada Familia

Únase a nosotros para  la vigilia  al Santísimo Sacramento que durará toda la noche a partir del miércoles 14 de agosto después de la Santa Misa de las 6:00 p. m. en el Sagrado Corazón. La adoración continuará durante toda la noche y concluirá con la bendición antes de la misa de las 12:00 p. m. en el Sagrado Corazón al día siguiente, jueves 15 de agosto.
