Holy Days of Obligation for the 2024-2025

Friday, November 1, 2024 – All Saints Day

Vigil Mass on Thursday, October 31: 7:00 pm at Sacred Heart (Candlelit Mass offered Ad Orientem and followed by Eucharistic Adoration and the Litany of Saints)

After, we invite parishioners to participate in our All Saints’ All-Night Vigil. Adoration will continue through the night and conclude with benediction prior to the 12:00 pm Mass at Sacred Heart the next day.

Friday, November 1 Masses:

• 7:00 am at Holy Family
• 12:00 pm at Sacred Heart
• 12:00 pm at Marian University
• 6:00 pm at Sacred Heart
• 7:00  pm at Holy Family (Spanish)

El viernes 1 de noviembre – la Solemnidad de Todos los Santos

El jueves 31 de octubre: a las 7:00 p. m. en Sagrado Corazón (Esta Misa a la luz de las velas se ofrecerá Ad Orientem y será seguida por la Adoración Eucarística y la Letanía de los Santos.)

La Adoración continuará durante la noche y concluirá con la bendición antes de la Misa de las 12:00 p. m. en Sagrado Corazón del día siguiente.

• 10:00 am at Holy Family Church in Spanish for Día de los Muertos

Sábado 2 de noviembre de 2024 (NO es un día santo de precepto) – Día de los Difuntos/Día de los Muertos

• 8:00 a. m. en la Iglesia de la Sagrada Familia (seguidas de procesiones por los cementerios de la iglesia).
• 10:00 a. m. en Nuestro Salvador Resucitado (seguidas de procesiones por los cementerios de la iglesia).
• 12:00 p. m. en la Iglesia de San Pedro (seguidas de procesiones por los cementerios de la iglesia).
• En españo 10:00 a. m. en la Iglesia de la Sagrada Familia por el Día de los Fieles Difuntos

Sunday, December 8, 2024 – The Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary – celebrated on Monday, December 9 (although falling on a Monday, it remains a Holy Day of Obligation)

• Holy Family: 7:00 am (Confessions to follow); 7:00 pm in Spanish 
• Marian University: 12:00 pm
• Sacred Heart: 12:00 pm (Confessions from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm)
• St. Mary: 6:00 pm (preceded by talk from Fr. Kevin Durand on the Mystery and Meaning of the Immaculate Conception from 4:30-5:30 pm in St. Mary Basement)

Únase a la Sagrada Familia para la Fiesta de la Inmaculada Concepción, un día santo de obligación, el lunes 9 de diciembre

• Universidad Mariana: 12:00 pm

Please join us for an all-night adoration vigil of the Blessed Sacrament beginning on Wednesday, August 14 following the 6:00 pm Mass at Sacred Heart. Adoration will continue through the night and conclude with benediction prior to the 12:00 pm Mass at Sacred Heart the next day, Thursday, August 15.

Únase a nosotros para  la vigilia  al Santísimo Sacramento que durará toda la noche a partir del miércoles 14 de agosto después de la Santa Misa de las 6:00 p. m. en el Sagrado Corazón. La adoración continuará durante toda la noche y concluirá con la bendición antes de la misa de las 12:00 p. m. en el Sagrado Corazón al día siguiente, jueves 15 de agosto.
