  • FDL County Health Department Vaccine Clinic

    The Fond du Lac County Health Department will offer a vaccine clinic following the 12:00 pm Spanish Mass at Holy Family Church on Sunday, June 7. From 1:00 to 3:00 pm, adults ages 19 and older who do not have health insurance can receive vaccines like Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, HPV, Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR), Polio, Tetanus-Diphtheria-Pertussis (Tdap), and Varicella (Chickenpox). No appointment is required and a Spanish interpreter will be available onsite. For any questions, contact the Fond du Lac County Health Department at (920) 929-3085. Fernando Torres at our Farewell Mass & Reception before they leave Holy Family to take on new assignments in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.   Following Mass, you will have a chance to wish them well when we meet in Holy Family Hall for treats and refreshments.

    Join us at the 8:00 am Mass at Holy Family on the First Saturday of the month for the Five First Saturdays Devotion. The Five First Saturdays Devotion is one of the principal points on the urgent need for mankind to offer reparation and expiate for the many injuries that the Immaculate Heart of Mary suffers from the hands of both the impious and the indifferent man. The devotion consists of: going to Confession; receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion; saying five decades of the Rosary; and mediating for 15 minutes on the mysteries of the Rosary.

    The Holy Family Respect Life Ministry will offer talks on end-of-life planning and care on Thursday, May 14 and May 28 at 5:30 pm in Holy Family Hall featuring Archdiocese of Milwaukee Director of Respect Life Ministry Rich Fedor and Fr. Matthew Kirk. The first talk on May 14 will be a workshop inspired by the Wisconsin Catholic Conference of Bishop’s document “Now and at the Hour of Our Death,” and discuss the importance of forms like the Wisconsin Power of Attorney for Health Care, Catholic Addendum to the WI POA-H, and the Final Disposition, and how to fill them out. The second talk on May 28 will discuss end-of-life issues and end-of-life care from a Catholic perspective, and the importance of discussing this with loved ones, particularly those making decisions on your behalf. Fr. Matthew will talk about the Anointing of the Sick and the Last Rites. Refreshments will be served. You do not have to attend the first talk to attend the second.
