  • Blue Mass

    All police officers, firefighters, corrections officers, emergency dispatchers, and EMS personnel are invited to attend Holy Family Catholic Community's Blue Mass at 10:00 am on Sunday, September 11 at Holy Family Church. The Mass will honor all those who serve and protect our community in the public safety field, and pray for their future protection. This Mass is celebrated annually throughout the United States in Catholic Churches for those employed in the public safety field. The color blue relates to the blue-colored uniforms predominately used by these services and were celebrated for the first time in the United States in 1934. Those who attend are encouraged to wear their uniforms and have a flag to representing their agency in the Gathering Space. A reception will follow with refreshments. 

  • Neighbors in Faith Ice Cream Social

    Neighbors in Faith assistants and participants, as well as those interested in volunteering with the program, are invited to our Ice Cream Social on July 14! We will celebrate our current participants as they share their experiences with anyone interested in joining. Attendees will have the opportunity to sign up as well. The night will begin with Mass at 6:00 pm and the social will follow.

    GriefShare

    Beginning July 11, Holy Family Catholic Community will host “GriefShare,” a weekly support group and seminar designed to help people rebuild their lives after loss. As each of the 13 session are self-contained, participants can attend GriefShare at any point and do not have to attend in sequence.   • Fr. Edward Sippel 75th Ordination Anniversary Celebration

    First Saturday Devotion

    Join us at the 8:00 am Mass at Holy Family on the First Saturday of the month for the Five First Saturdays Devotion. The Five First Saturdays Devotion is one of the principal points on the urgent need for mankind to offer reparation and expiate for the many injuries that the Immaculate Heart of Mary suffers from the hands of both the impious and the indifferent man. The devotion consists of: going to Confession; receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion; saying five decades of the Rosary; and mediating for 15 minutes on the mysteries of the Rosary.

  • Divine Mercy Sunday

    Join us in celebrating Divine Mercy Sunday at Holy Family Church on Sunday, April 24. Silent Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will take place 2:00-3:00 pm; Reconciliation from 2:00-4:00 pm; and the Divine Mercy Holy Hour from 3:00 - 4:00 pm. Mass will not be part of the celebration. To reduce the long lines, please try to go to reconciliation eight days before or after the feast day. The Hispanic community will begin the celebration Divine Mercy with Mass at 12:00 pm, at Holy Family,  followed by exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Devine Mercy Holy Hour and Reconciliation. Silent adoration will take place from 2:00-3:00 pm.

    Way of the CrossRetrace the steps of Jesus' crucifixion and pray on his sacrifice when you join us at the Way of the Cross every Friday night throughout Lent. Way of the Cross will be held March 4, 18, 25 & April 1, 8 at 6:00 pm at Holy Family; 7:00 pm at Holy Family in Spanish; and 7:00 pm at Our Risen Savior. On March 11, Way of the Cross will be held at St. Mary's instead of Holy Family.     

  • Pray, Reconcile, Rejoice: Lenten Day of Reconciliation

    Pray, Reconcile, Rejoice: Lenten Day of Reconciliation Priests from around the Fond du Lac and Sheboygan area will hear confessions throughout the day in preparation for the Resurrection of the Lord. From 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, come to Reconciliation at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way, or St. Peter Claver Church, 1439 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan.  Priests will be available to hear Confessions in Spanish from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Holy Family and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at St. Peter Claver Church.

    Holy Family Catholic Community to host Soup du JourHoly Family Catholic Community will host Soup du Jour on Saturday, March 19 at Holy Family Church and Sacred Heart Church. The fundraiser will sell soup donated by local restaurants and our Holy Family staff to benefit the St. Katharine Drexel Homeless Shelter and Holyland Food Pantry. We will sell soup for $4 per container or $10 for three containers following the 4:00 pm Masses at Sacred Heart and Holy Family, as well as make it available for pickup at Holy Family from 2:30 to 4:00 pm. Participants include: Avenue 795, A & W Restaurant, Bench Warmers Bar & Grille, Boda’s Restaurant and Catering, Brick House, Downtown Deli to Go/Top Shelf Sports Bar & Grille, Domino’s, Fat Joe’s Burgers and Brew, Friar Tuck’s, Gilles Frozen Custard, Mancino’s Pizza & Grinders, Oasis, Pamela’s Bar and Grille, Salty's Seafood and Spirits, Sunset on the Water, and Theo’s 24. Elaine Graf and the Associates of First Weber Realtors, and Holy Family Staff will also donate a soup.
