    Get your lederhosen ready! Holy Family Catholic Community will host its Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday, October 8 at Holy Family Church. The event will begin a bilingual Mass in English and German at the 4:00 pm Mass. Around 5:00 pm, the celebration will move to the Prayer Garden with face painting, inflatable obstacle course, 50/50 raffle, yard games, a petting zoo, activities for young and old, and the renown German folk band, Dorf Kapelle. Bratwurst, German potato salad, tacos, nachos, desserts, soda, and beer will be available for purchase. In the event of rain, the event will be moved into Holy Family Hall.   ¡Prepara tus lederhosen!   • Paul Thelen 40th Anniversary Mass

    Join us as we celebrate Paul Thelen's 40th anniversary of working in our parish with his 40th Anniversary Concert at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 25 at Holy Family Church. The concert will be a combination of sacred and secular music featuring the Holy Family Choirs, the Lighthouse Big Band, the Thelen Sisters, and organ solos by Paul Thelen.

    Celebrate the culture, faith, and food of our Hispanic community at Holy Family's Latin Flavor eventon Sunday, September 18! The event will begin at 10:00 am with a bilingual Spanish and English Mass at Holy Family Church. The festival will follow in the Prayer Garden from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm with traditional games, traditional music of the Mariachi Zamora, La Distancia de Villa, and DJ Estrella; a performance by the folkloric dance group from the Dance Academy of Mexico; joke, yelling, dance, and jalapeños eating contests; and food like tacos, tamales, popusas, arepas, Coctel de elotes/corn cocktail, nachos, burritos, aguas frescas/fruit coolers, and duritos/flour fritters with salsa and much more. ¡Celebre la cultura, la fe y la comida de nuestra comunidad hispana en el evento Latin Flavor de Holy Family el domingo 18 de septiembre!   • Women’s Ministry Kick-Off Event

      Join Holy Family Catholic Community for its Women's Ministry Kick-Off at 6:00 pm Thursday, September 15 at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way. The night will begin at 6:00 pm with Mass, followed by snacks and a social in the hall, and a talk from Anne Auger on "Beauty-full: The Gifts of Womanhood." Anne graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville with a Masters Degree in 2003. She has worked extensively in both the Milwaukee and Madison dioceses in RCIA, Adult Catechesis, Youth Ministry and Religious Ed programs. The sister of Fr. John Paul Mitchell, Anne is a wife and mother of six children and serves as the Director of Religious Education for her parish in Sullivan, WI. She is an instructor at the Seat of Wisdom Institute in Madison and runs her own small business with over 500 customers. Anne has been a keynote speaker at many parishes and Catholic organizations.   • Blue Mass

    All police officers, firefighters, corrections officers, emergency dispatchers, and EMS personnel are invited to attend Holy Family Catholic Community's Blue Mass at 10:00 am on Sunday, September 11 at Holy Family Church. The Mass will honor all those who serve and protect our community in the public safety field, and pray for their future protection. This Mass is celebrated annually throughout the United States in Catholic Churches for those employed in the public safety field. The color blue relates to the blue-colored uniforms predominately used by these services and were celebrated for the first time in the United States in 1934. Those who attend are encouraged to wear their uniforms and have a flag to representing their agency in the Gathering Space. A reception will follow with refreshments. 

  • Neighbors in Faith Ice Cream Social

    Neighbors in Faith assistants and participants, as well as those interested in volunteering with the program, are invited to our Ice Cream Social on July 14! We will celebrate our current participants as they share their experiences with anyone interested in joining. Attendees will have the opportunity to sign up as well. The night will begin with Mass at 6:00 pm and the social will follow.

    GriefShare

    Beginning July 11, Holy Family Catholic Community will host “GriefShare,” a weekly support group and seminar designed to help people rebuild their lives after loss. As each of the 13 session are self-contained, participants can attend GriefShare at any point and do not have to attend in sequence.     First Saturday Devotion

    Join us at the 8:00 am Mass at Holy Family on the First Saturday of the month for the Five First Saturdays Devotion. The Five First Saturdays Devotion is one of the principal points on the urgent need for mankind to offer reparation and expiate for the many injuries that the Immaculate Heart of Mary suffers from the hands of both the impious and the indifferent man. The devotion consists of: going to Confession; receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion; saying five decades of the Rosary; and mediating for 15 minutes on the mysteries of the Rosary.

  • Divine Mercy Sunday

    Join us in celebrating Divine Mercy Sunday at Holy Family Church on Sunday, April 24. Silent Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will take place 2:00-3:00 pm; Reconciliation from 2:00-4:00 pm; and the Divine Mercy Holy Hour from 3:00 - 4:00 pm. Mass will not be part of the celebration. To reduce the long lines, please try to go to reconciliation eight days before or after the feast day. The Hispanic community will begin the celebration Divine Mercy with Mass at 12:00 pm, at Holy Family,  followed by exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Devine Mercy Holy Hour and Reconciliation. Silent adoration will take place from 2:00-3:00 pm.  

  • Way of the Cross

    Way of the CrossRetrace the steps of Jesus' crucifixion and pray on his sacrifice when you join us at the Way of the Cross every Friday night throughout Lent. Way of the Cross will be held March 4, 18, 25 & April 1, 8 at 6:00 pm at Holy Family; 7:00 pm at Holy Family in Spanish; and 7:00 pm at Our Risen Savior. On March 11, Way of the Cross will be held at St. Mary's instead of Holy Family.
