Holy Family Catholic Community to host Soup du JourHoly Family Catholic Community will host Soup du Jour on Saturday, March 19 at Holy Family Church and Sacred Heart Church. The fundraiser will sell soup donated by local restaurants and our Holy Family staff to benefit the St. Katharine Drexel Homeless Shelter and Holyland Food Pantry. We will sell soup for $4 per container or $10 for three containers following the 4:00 pm Masses at Sacred Heart and Holy Family, as well as make it available for pickup at Holy Family from 2:30 to 4:00 pm. Participants include: Avenue 795, A & W Restaurant, Bench Warmers Bar & Grille, Boda’s Restaurant and Catering, Brick House, Downtown Deli to Go/Top Shelf Sports Bar & Grille, Domino’s, Fat Joe’s Burgers and Brew, Friar Tuck’s, Gilles Frozen Custard, Mancino’s Pizza & Grinders, Oasis, Pamela’s Bar and Grille, Salty's Seafood and Spirits, Sunset on the Water, and Theo’s 24. Elaine Graf and the Associates of First Weber Realtors, and Holy Family Staff will also donate a soup. The Prodigal Son: A Parish Mission with Joe HeschmeyerJoin author, podcast co-host, blogger, and speaker Joe Heschmeyer as he looks at the parable of the Prodigal Son through the lenses of what it means to be a son or daughter of God, what it means to be brothers and sisters with our fellow Christians, and how to lead according to the model laid out by God, the Father. Grief Share

Grief Share is a special weekly seminar and support group designed to help you rebuild your life after loss. We know it hurts, and we want to help. Attendees are welcome to join the GriefShare group at any point. Each of the 13 sessions is “self contained” and you do not have to attend in sequence. Women’s Ministry presents: “Draw Close to Jesus” : A Morning Retreat

Holy Family Catholic Community's Women's Ministry will host "Draw Close to Jesus" - A Morning Retreat the morning of Saturday, January 15. The day will include: Confession, Adoration, Rosary, Mass, breakfast, a talk on Merridth Frediani's book "Draw Close to Jesus: A Woman's Guide to Eucharistic Adoration," a small group testimonial speaker, introduction of small groups, small group sign-up, and prayer. Jesus changed many women's lives with healing and forgiveness. In our talk about "Draw Close to Jesus" by Merridith Frediani, we will discuss how engaging in Eucharistic Adoration can change our lives and transform us.  

Our Lady of Guadalupe

On December 12, the Feast of our Lady Mary of Guadalupe will start at Holy Family Church with the traditional Mañanitas at 5:00 am. Mass will be at 12:00 pm with Aztec dance and our choir singing to Mary of Guadalupe. Lunch will follow in Holy Family Hall. Este 12 de diciembre fiesta de nuestra Señora María De Guadalupe, en la Iglesia de Holy Family, comenzando con las tradicionales mañanitas a las 5:00am. Misa 12:00pm con danza Azteca y nuestro coro que cantara a María de Guadalupe, después de misa tendremos almuerzo en el salón de Holy Family.

Grief Share: Surviving the Holidays

Holy Family Catholic Community to offer "Grief Share: Surviving the Holidays" Join Holy Family Catholic Community as we work to make pillow cases for those in need with our program Creating 'Cases. Volunteers of all ages are needed to cut fabric, design colorful combinations, pin, and sew pillows with sewing machines from 3:45 to 5:15 pm on October 21 and 28 at Holy Family Hall. Pillow cases will go to the "Sleep in Heavenly Peace" bed build, Salvation Army Warming Shelter, St. Katharine Drexel Shelter, and more. Grief Share: Surviving the Holidays

Are you or someone you know grieving? Holy Family Catholic Community will offer the seminar "Grief Share: Surviving the Holidays" from 1:00 to 3:00 pm or 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Thursday, November 4 in the Holy Family Conference Room, 271 Fourth Street Way to help those experiencing loss learn tools to navigate the holiday season. Participants will learn how to deal with their emotions, what to do about traditions, how to survive social events, and how to find hope for the future. Holy Family Catholic Community 20th Anniversary Mass

Archbishop Listecki will celebrate a special Mass of Thanksgiving at Holy Family Church at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 in honor of the parish's 20th anniversary year. The anniversary marks the day on which the merger of Sacred Heart, St. Mary, St. Louis, St. Patrick, St. Peter, and St. Joseph parishes became official in 2000. We will have priests that have served Holy Family since 2000 in attendance at the Mass. A reception will follow with cookies, coffee, and water. All parishioners are welcome and encouraged to attend. El Arzobispo Listecki celebrará una Misa especial de Acción de Gracias en la Iglesia Holy Family el Miércoles 30 de Junio del 2021 a las 6:00 pm en honor al 20º aniversario de la parroquia. El Aniversario marca el día en que la fusión de las parroquias del Sagrado Corazón, Santa María, San Luis, San Patricio, San Pedro y San José que se hizo oficial en el año 2000. Tendremos sacerdotes que han servido a la Sagrada Familia desde el año 2000. Seguirá una recepción con café, agua y galletas. Todos los feligreses son bienvenidos y se les anima a asistir.

Celebrating Deacon Ricardo: Anniversary Mass

Deacon Ricardo Muñoz will celebrate this 40th anniversary as a Deacon, as well as his retirement from Holy Family Catholic Community with a 40th Anniversary Mass at 12:00 pm on Sunday, June 27 at Holy Family Church. A reception will follow with food, dance, and music. El Diácono Ricardo Muñoz celebrará su 40 Aniversario como Diácono, así como su retiro de la Comunidad Católica de Holy Family con una misa del 40 Aniversario el Domingo 27 de Junio a las 12: pm en la Iglesia de Holy Family. Caring for your Body
