![]() On Tuesday, November 28 - Giving Tuesday - Holy Family will partner with the St. Katharine Drexel Shelter and Fond du Lac County United Way to raise awareness and funds for those experiencing homelessness in our community. From 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, volunteers will be outside the St. Katharine Drexel Shelter, 358 N. Peters Ave., to stand in solidarity with those who are homeless. Holy Family invites you to stop by the shelter during that time to learn more about homelessness and consider making a monetary donation or contributing hygiene and cleaning items to support those in need at our shelters and in our community. Online donations will also be accepted by clicking here. Donations will benefit the Holy Family Warming Shelter, St. Katharine Drexel Shelter, and Fond du Lac County United Way. Individuals, groups, and organizations are invited to volunteer for one-hour shifts outside the shelter. There must be at least 2-3 people signed up per shift. Warm beverages will be provided. All the quilts that we make go to the less fortunate people in the area. We also make lap quilts for the area nursing homes. The St. Ambrose Men’s Group hosts “That Man is You” every Wednesday. The morning includes a full breakfast, a video for the program at 6:00 am, and a small group discussion. That Man is You! honestly addresses the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers. The program harmonizes current social and medical science with the teachings of the Church and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of man fully alive! This year’s theme is “Worthy of the Call” and will focus on discovering and embracing the call to live a life worthy of the call you have received! No registration is required – you can join at any time! There is a cost of $10 for materials.. . The Youth Group is open to any student in middle and high school and typically meets on Thursday nights at Sacred Heart School from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. See poster to check times and locations. Join us at the 8:00 am Mass at Holy Family on the First Saturday of the month for the Five First Saturdays Devotion. The Five First Saturdays Devotion is one of the principal points on the urgent need for mankind to offer reparation and expiate for the many injuries that the Immaculate Heart of Mary suffers from the hands of both the impious and the indifferent man. The devotion consists of: going to Confession; receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion; saying five decades of the Rosary; and mediating for 15 minutes on the mysteries of the Rosary. |

We will begin the day with prayer at 5:00 am and continue our celebration at 5:00 pm with the Rosary, followed by Mass and a procession to Holy Family Hall with traditional dancing honor the Blessed Virgin Mary. ![]() All those experiencing illness are invited to attend Holy Family Catholic Community's Anointing Service at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, December 14 at Sacred Heart Church. The sacrament, which confers God's grace through the Holy Spirit on those who are ill, can be offered more than once if a person's condition has worsened or became ill once again. It is administered to bring spiritual and even physical strength during an illness, especially near the time of death. ![]() Mary Jo Neumann’s Mobility & Balance Class will return this January! The class will take place Fridays beginning January 5 in the Sacred Heart School Gym from 9:00 to 9:40 am. The function of balance and mobility training is to help a person feel safe when moving from place to place. Participants should be able to walk without assistive devices, such as canes, walkers, and wheelchairs. Tennis shoes and comfortable clothes recommend. Bring own water bottle.
