Topics will include aerobic fitness, muscular strength, balance, flexibility, and social well-being. Get ready! One of Holy Family Catholic Community's most delicious events is back! Soup du Jour will return to Holy Family Church Saturday, March 2. The fundraiser, which sells soup donated by your favorite area restaurants, will benefit the Holyland Food Pantry and Holy Family Warming Shelter. Based in Marytown, Holyland Food Pantry provides supplemental and emergency food to people in need in the Holyland, as well as refers people to additional resources. The Holy Family Warming Shelter opened in November 2023 and every night provides warmth, safety, and food to single adults experiencing homelessness in the community. Soup du Jour will take place at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 2 at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way on the south side of the church beneath the canopy. Soup will be available on a first come, first served basis for $6 per cup and $15 for three. Attention men: You’re invited to join the 2024 Men of Christ conference—Mastering What Matters—which will be held in parishes across the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, including at Holy Family Church—with both virtual and live elements. The morning will feature well-known speakers, Mass, Adoration, Confession and fellowship. Speakers will include: Kevin O'Brien, Sam Blair, Fr. Mike Berhard, and Dave Durand.   Registration will begin at 6:30 am at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way, with the Rosary at 7:00 am, followed by Mass and Adoration prior to the official start to the conference at 8:45 am. The day will conclude at 12:45 pm with lunch.   The suggested donation is $25 per person to cover the cost of food and materials. On Tuesday, March 19, please join us at Sacred Heart Church as we mark the Solemnity of Saint Joseph, husband of the Blessed Virgin Mary, with a special Mass at 6:30 pm. Adoration and Benediction will follow Mass.    

On Wednesday, March 20, area priests will be available for the sacrament of Reconciliation at 11 parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Milwaukee as part of "Pray, Reconcile, and Rejoice: 12 Hours of Reconciliation." That day, people can have their confessions heard at Holy Family Church from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Confessions in Spanish will be heard from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 4:00 to 8:00 pm.

Stress is a physiological and psychological response to a change in a situation that the body and mind find to be overwhelming. At 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 27 in Holy Family South Hall, join Mary Jo Neumann, MS, as we discuss stress/anxiety and simple ways to manage symptoms for positive well-being. Children will have baskets full of Easter fun at Holy Family’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt following the 10:00 am Mass at Holy Family Church on Easter Sunday, March 31! Children will search the Prayer Garden for hundreds of hidden eggs, and in the event of inclement weather, they will hunt in the Holy Family Hall. Children are welcome to bring their own baskets, but bags will be provided. Interested in volunteering?  Volunteers will meet in Holy Family Hall during Communion at the 10:00 am Mass and be assigned two doors, where they will hand out bags to children and release different age groups into the Prayer Garden when it is time for the hunt. They will also assist in decoration clean-up after. In the event of inclement weather, the hunt will take place in the hall. Join us at Holy Family Church on Sunday, April 7 to celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday, a celebration of our Lord's mercy given to us through the Paschal Mystery of Jesus Christ. The afternoon will include silent adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 2:00 to 3:30 pm, Reconciliation from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, and the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3:30 pm. Mass will not be part of the celebration. To reduce long lines for Reconciliation, please try to go Reconciliation eight days before or after the feast day.
