Mary Jo Neumann will once again help you gain strength and balance when her six-week Balance and Mobility Class returns this week. The class will be held on Mondays from 10:00 to 10:30 am on October 24-November 28. All classes will be held in the Sacred Heart School Gym, except the November 7th session, which will be held at Holy Family. The function of balance and mobility training is to help a person feel safe when moving. Participants should be able to walk without assistive devices, such as canes, walkers, and wheelchairs. Join us at the 8:00 am Mass at Presentation on the First Saturday of the month for the Five First Saturdays Devotion. The Five First Saturdays Devotion is one of the principal points on the urgent need for mankind to offer reparation and expiate for the many injuries that the Immaculate Heart of Mary suffers from the hands of both the impious and the indifferent man. The devotion consists of: going to Confession; receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion; saying five decades of the Rosary; and mediating for 15 minutes on the mysteries of the Rosary.
Our Risen Savior will host a Pie Social in honor of St. Nicholas Day on Sunday, December 4 following the 10:00 am Mass. All are welcome to join the social for fellowship and a visit from St. Nicholas, who will speak with children!
