  • Pilgrimage to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help

    Join Holy Family and Fr. Michael Malucha as we make a pilgrimage to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help, the first and only approved site of a Marian apparition in the United States on Saturday, April 29. We will leave on a bus from Holy Family Church at 8:00 am and travel to Champion, Wisconsin. We will offer three different schedules for the day, one of which you will select when registering, and we will return to Holy Family around 5:00 pm. Space is limited. Cost is $10 per person.   • Divine Mercy Sunday

    Join us in marking Divine Mercy Sunday, a celebration of our Lord's mercy given to us through the Paschal Mystery of Jesus Christ, at Holy Family Church on Sunday, April 16. We will offer a Holy Hour in English from 2:00 to 3:00 pm, followed by the Bilingual Chaplet of Divine Mercy at 3:00 pm, and the Holy Hour in Spanish at 3:15 pm with Benediction at 4:15 pm. There will also be an opportunity to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation, as priests will be available to hear confessions in English from 2:00 to 3:15 pm, and in Spanish from 3:15 to 4:00 pm.     Hop over to the Holy Family Prayer Garden (or Holy Family Hall in the event of bad weather) for an Easter Egg Hunt following the 10:00 am Mass at Holy Family Church on Easter Sunday, April 9.     On Wednesday, March 29, 2023, area priests will be available for the sacrament of Reconciliation at 11 parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. People can have their confessions heard from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 29 at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way. Priests will be available to hear confessions in Spanish from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.  El miércoles 29 de marzo de 2023, los sacerdotes del área estarán disponibles para el sacramento de la Reconciliación en 11 parroquias de la Arquidiócesis de Milwaukee.     Make your plans now to attend the Holy Family Catholic Community 2023 Parish Mission, featuring Church on Fire Founder and JP II Healing Center Associate Bart Schuchts from 6:30 to 8:00 pm February 19-21 at Holy Family Church. Sitting in an NFL locker room, Bart Schuchts had an encounter with God that changed his life forever. At our Parish Mission, he will share what it is like to encounter the Father's love, the fullness of Confirmation, and live into the Resurrection Life of Christ. Adoration will be offered each night prior to the Mission from 5:30-6:15 pm. A social will follow. Childcare is available upon request.

    Get your favorite soups from your local restaurants all in one place when Soup du Jour returns to Holy Family on Saturday, February 18! The fundraiser will sell soup donated by local restaurants and our Holy Family staff to once again benefit the St. Katharine Drexel Shelter and Holyland Food Pantry. We will sell soup for $4 per container or three for $10 from 2:00 to 3:30 pm at Holy Family Church. Any soups remaining after 3:30 pm will be sold following the 4:00 pm Mass at Holy Family. Customers are asked to come to the northeast side of the church and wait in their cars, where they will be served in the order they arrive.   • Women’s Ministry: Sharing Our Journey

    Women's Ministry invites all women of the parish to attend its "Sharing Our Journey" event from 7:00 to 10:15 am on Saturday, January 21 at Holy Family Church and Hall. The morning will include Adoration, Confession, Mass, a speaker from New Beginnings, and an opportunity to learn about the HOPE Box, as well as to sign up for Small Groups and Bible Studies. Meant to be a hopeful resource for mothers and fathers of our community to encourage them to choose life, the HOPE Box will include such items as pregnancy help resources, an invitation to host a baby shower at our church and, poignantly, an “Esther letter” from a member of our community who has faced a similar decision and yet chose life for their child and family. Those who attend this morning retreat are asked to bring the following items for the HOPE Box to the event or to the Parish Office: candle – tea light size in a holder of some sort; lotion- 2-5 oz. container; hand soap or hand sanitizer – 2-5 oz. container; and journal – 4x6 or smaller.

GalileeU offers a variety of “mini-retreats” designed to help married couples encounter Christ in a deeper way through the great gift of their sacramental marriage. Retreat and workshop themes include: Theology of the Body, Forgiveness, Parenting, Motherhood, and Fatherhood. On Saturday, December 10 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, we will host a Devoted Marriage Retreat featuring “Joyful Ever After with Damon and Melanie Owens” at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way. To help you through the holidays, Holy Family will host GriefShare's Surviving the Holidays seminar from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Monday, November 14 at Holy Family. The holiday season can be particularly difficult when you are grieving the death of a loved one. Grief Share's Surviving the Holidays seminar helps participants learn: how to deal with their emotions; what to do about traditions; how to survive social events; and how to find hope for the future.
