Every Catholic marriage and family needs moments of enrichment, renewal, and a deeper understanding of having Christ at the center of your marriage. GalileeU offers a variety of “mini-retreats” designed to help married couples encounter Christ in a deeper way through the great gift of their sacramental marriage. Retreat and workshop themes include: Theology of the Body, Forgiveness, Parenting, Motherhood, and Fatherhood. On Saturday, December 10 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, we will host a Devoted Marriage Retreat featuring “Joyful Ever After with Damon and Melanie Owens” at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way. An Arise Worship Night gives attendees an opportunity to encounter Christ through dynamic preaching, Eucharistic Adoration, Reconciliation, and praise & worship music.     This free, family-friendly night will include a Dynamic Spiritual Message from Craig Richter, seminarian; Adoration and Procession with Fr. As we prepare our hearts for Christmas, priests from throughout the Fond du Lac and Sheboygan area will offer 12 Hours of Reconciliation in both counties. People can have their confessions heard from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 6 at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way and Tuesday, December 13 at St. Peter Claver Church, 1439 S. 12th St., Sheboygan. Mientras preparamos nuestros corazones para la Navidad, los sacerdotes de todo el área de Fond du Lac y Sheboygan ofrecerán 12 Horas de Reconciliación en ambos condados. Are you or someone you know grieving? To help you through the holidays, Holy Family will host GriefShare's Surviving the Holidays seminar from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Monday, November 14 at Holy Family. The holiday season can be particularly difficult when you are grieving the death of a loved one. Grief Share's Surviving the Holidays seminar helps participants learn: how to deal with their emotions; what to do about traditions; how to survive social events; and how to find hope for the future. Health Care Worker Sunday Holy Family will celebrate and honor all health care workers - those at hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, mental health treatment centers, nursing homes, long-term care facilities, etc. - at Mass on Sunday, October 30 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Church. All health care workers are invited to join us as we pray for their success, safety, and health at this Mass. A reception with refreshments will follow in the Fireside Room for workers and their families.

Join GalileeU from 7:00 to 8:30 pm on Thursday, October 20 at Holy Family Church to learn more about how to find God in our daily lives and live the Catholic social responsibility. GalileeU is adult formation for mission and life. It’s a place to encounter Jesus and learn from him how to know, live, and share our Catholic faith. GalileeU Sessions provide high quality training for the mission of the Church and experiential learning for the practical daily living of our Catholic faith. Get your lederhosen ready! Holy Family Catholic Community will host its first Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday, October 8 at Holy Family Church. The event will begin a bilingual Mass in English and German at the 4:00 pm Mass. Around 5:00 pm, the celebration will move to the Prayer Garden with face painting, 50/50 raffle, yard games, a petting zoo, activities for young and old, and the renown German folk band, Dorf Kapelle. Bratwurst, German potato salad, tacos, nachos, desserts, soda, and beer will be available for purchase. In the event of rain, the event will be moved into Holy Family Hall. ¡Prepara tus lederhosen! Join us as we celebrate Paul Thelen's 40th anniversary of working in our parish with his 40th Anniversary Concert at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 25 at Holy Family Church. The concert will be a combination of sacred and secular music featuring the Holy Family Choirs, the Lighthouse Big Band, the Thelen Sisters, and organ solos by Paul Thelen.

Celebrate the culture, faith, and food of our Hispanic community at Holy Family's Latin Flavor eventon Sunday, September 18! The event will begin at 10:00 am with a bilingual Spanish and English Mass at Holy Family Church. The festival will follow in the Prayer Garden from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm with traditional games, traditional music of the Mariachi Zamora, La Distancia de Villa, and DJ Estrella; a performance by the folkloric dance group from the Dance Academy of Mexico; joke, yelling, dance, and jalapeños eating contests; and food like tacos, tamales, popusas, arepas, Coctel de elotes/corn cocktail, nachos, burritos, aguas frescas/fruit coolers, and duritos/flour fritters with salsa and much more. ¡Celebre la cultura, la fe y la comida de nuestra comunidad hispana en el evento Latin Flavor de Holy Family el domingo 18 de septiembre!   Join Holy Family Catholic Community for its Women's Ministry Kick-Off at 6:00 pm Thursday, September 15 at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way. The night will begin at 6:00 pm with Mass, followed by snacks and a social in the hall, and a talk from Anne Auger on "Beauty-full: The Gifts of Womanhood." Anne graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville with a Masters Degree in 2003. She has worked extensively in both the Milwaukee and Madison dioceses in RCIA, Adult Catechesis, Youth Ministry and Religious Ed programs. The sister of Fr. John Paul Mitchell, Anne is a wife and mother of six children and serves as the Director of Religious Education for her parish in Sullivan, WI. She is an instructor at the Seat of Wisdom Institute in Madison and runs her own small business with over 500 customers. Anne has been a keynote speaker at many parishes and Catholic organizations. She has a heart for people and loves sharing the message of the beauty of our creation and the gift of womanhood. Those who attend are asked to bring a package (or two) of newborn and size 1 diapers.
