Stuebenville Conference Informational Meeting

Building the Domestic Church Parent Sessions: Leading Your Family

All parents are invited to attend Holy Family’s Building the Domestic Church sessions, which will teach attendees how to take their Catholic faith beyond the church doors and into their home. This session will discuss leading your family. As a parent you are the primary witness to your children. Are you modeling the behavior you want to see in your children? Is your spousal relationship a witness to what yo hope for your children? How do you build virtue and reject sin to be holy? How do you stay committed to the Truth of the Church despite the draw of the culture? Childcare will be available for children ages 3 and up. Please drop children off in the gym of Sacred Heart School.

Women’s Ministry presents: “Draw Close to Jesus” : A Morning Retreat

Holy Family Catholic Community's Women's Ministry will host "Draw Close to Jesus" - A Morning Retreat the morning of Saturday, January 15. The day will include: Confession, Adoration, Rosary, Mass, breakfast, a talk on Merridth Frediani's book "Draw Close to Jesus: A Woman's Guide to Eucharistic Adoration," a small group testimonial speaker, introduction of small groups, small group sign-up, and prayer. Jesus changed many women's lives with healing and forgiveness. In our talk about "Draw Close to Jesus" by Merridith Frediani, we will discuss how engaging in Eucharistic Adoration can change our lives and transform us.

Grief Share

Grief Share is a special weekly seminar and support group designed to help you rebuild your life after loss. We know it hurts, and we want to help. Attendees are welcome to join the GriefShare group at any point. Each of the 13 sessions is “self contained” and you do not have to attend in sequence. Como cada una de las 13 sesiones es autónoma, los participantes pueden asistir a Grief Share (compartir el dolor) en cualquier momento y no tienen que asistir en secuencia. All parents are invited to attend Holy Family’s Building the Domestic Church sessions, which will teach attendees how to take their Catholic faith beyond the church doors and into their home. This session will discuss how your family can share their lives and love with the community. What is the role of service in a life of a Catholic? This will offer an introduction to the corporal and spiritual works of mercy, why service is important, and the relationship of service during Lent. Childcare will be available for children ages 3 and up. Please drop children off in the gym of Sacred Heart School.
