  • Divine Mercy Sunday

    Join us at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way, on Sunday, April 27 for Divine Mercy Sunday, a celebration of our Lord's mercy given to us through the Paschal Mystery of Jesus Christ. The afternoon will include Reconciliation from 1:30 to 4:00 pm, Adoration from 2:00 to 3:30 pm (beginning after Spanish Mass), and the Divine Mercy Chaplet from 3:30 to 4:00 pm. Mass will not be part of the celebration. To reduce long lines for Reconciliation, please try to go Reconciliation 20 days before or after the feast day.     Are you struggling with grief? Holy Family will host “Grief Share,” a 13-week support group and seminar designed to help people rebuild their lives after loss. The group will meet Mondays, February 3 to April 28 from 4:00 to 5:30 pm in the Holy Family Board Room.     The Holy Family Respect Life Committee will meet in Holy Family’s St. Agnes Library on Monday, April 28 at 6:00 pm. The Respect Life Committee plans prayer and activities supporting the sanctity and protection of life, from conception to natural death. New members are welcome!   • Holy Family Quilters Group

    The Holy Family Quilters meet every Tuesday morning from 8:00 to 10:00 am in the St. Mary's Church basement. All the quilts that we make go to the less fortunate people in the area. We also make lap quilts for the area nursing homes. We can use small pieces or yardage of new material to make the tops and clean blankets and mattress pads, also any sewing items.  These items can be dropped off at the church office, or call Karen at (262) 629-4193 for pickup.

    Every Tuesday at St. Mary Church, those in need can get a free to-go meal, canned goods, and hygiene/cleaning items through the Blessed Bites program. Items are available from 4:30 to 5:30 pm - or until meals are gone.   • From Awareness to Action: Recognizing Substance Use in Your Family and Finding Support

    Learn about the signs of drug and alcohol use and addiction, and how you can help your loved ones experiencing it at the "From Awareness to Action: Recognizing Substance Use in Your Family and Finding Support" presentation from FDL County Drug Court Coordinator Jennifer Laning, CSAC, on Tuesday, April 29 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm in Holy Family Hall. Laning will discuss signs that parents, grandparents, and guardians should look out for in their children, and how to identity various drugs. The presentation will also feature a talk from a member of the recovery community sharing their experience with addiction and recovery. Information will be available on resources accessible to those who are struggling with addiction and those who are in recovery.

  • Men’s Group – That Man is You!

    You are invited to join dozens of men every Wednesday morning from 5:30 to 7:00 am in the Holy Family North Hall, 271 Fourth Street Way, for Men’s Group January 8 to April 30, 2025.   The St. Ambrose Men’s Group hosts “That Man is You – Apostle of the New Springtime” every Wednesday. The morning includes a full breakfast, a video for the program at 6:00 am, and a small group discussion.   That Man is You! honestly addresses the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers. The program harmonizes current social and medical science with the teachings of the Church and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of man fully alive!   No registration is required – you can join at any time!
