The Our Father: A Short Course with Dr. Ben Akers

When asked what they should say in prayer the Lord gives his disciples the “Our Father.” This prayer is considered a gift from the Lord and one that we should especially turn to in times of crisis. This series will go line by line through the prayer highlighting what it meant to Jesus’ first century audience and what it means for us today.

Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church 705 Michigan Avenue, North Fond du Lac

Adoration at PresentationHoly Family Catholic Community offers Adoration, Confession, and Mass at Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 705 Michigan Ave., in North Fond du Lac, every Thursday of the month except the first Thursday.  Adoration begins at 6:30 pm and Mass at 7:30 pm. This night differs from Cor Jesu - held the first Thursday of the month at Presentation - as there are fewer opportunities for confession and music is not present throughout.

In The Bible Timeline from Ascension Press: The Story of Salvation, presenter Jeff Cavins will show you how fourteen of the Bible’s narrative books tell the biblical story from beginning to end. Using a unique color-coded chart, you will learn the major people, places, and events of the Bible and discover how they all come together to reveal the remarkable story of our faith. The Bible Timeline will teach you how to read and understand the Bible and introduce you to the Wonderful Narrative of the Bible in a way that will transform your life. The group will meet Thursday, September 8-December 15 (excluding November 24) from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Limit 10 attendees.
