Welcome

Welcome

It is with great joy that I share with you that Archbishop Listecki, in consultation with the Priest Placement Board of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, has appointed Fr. John LoCoco as Shared Associate Pastor of Holy Family Catholic Community, Our Risen Savior Parish, Eldorado, and Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, North Fond du Lac, and part-time chaplain to St. Mary's Springs Academy, Fond du Lac, effective July 1, 2019. Fr. John LoCoco grew up at and was a member of St. Mary's Visitation Parish in Elm Grove his entire life. He attended the grade school, served Masses with his brothers, and has spent countless hours in the Adoration Chapel. After graduating from St. Mary's, he studied at Marquette University High School. From there, he began a degree in Finance at the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota, where he also played football. Having discerned a call from the Lord to serve Him as a priest, Fr. John transferred to Loyola University in Chicago to study philosophy at St. Joseph College Seminary. He was then sent to the Pontifical North American College in Rome where he completed a theology degree at the Pontifical Gregorian University. He is currently finishing a license in Dogmatic Theology at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome before he returns to take his assignment with us in Fond du Lac. We are truly blessed to have Fr. John joining our priest team. I know that he has some pretty big shoes to fill when Fr. John Mitchell leaves, but I am fully confident that Fr. John LoCoco will be able to do so with great patience and grace. Please pray for all your priests. -Fr. Ryan Pruess
