2026 Summer Program Registration is now open!

Children currently in grades K-7 in public school are encouraged to attend our Summer Program at Sacred Heart School from June 8-19 at either the AM session (8:30 to 11:30 am) or PM session (12:30 to 3:30 pm).
This two-week program invites children currently to encounter Christ through opportunities to learn from priests and catechists in the classroom, worship our Lord through song, and celebrate Mass with a Bishop.
The program is offered as either an AM session (8:30 to 11:30 am) or PM session (12:30 to 3:30 pm). The Summer Program is the only faith formation program that will be offered for elementary/middle school students. High School Yearly Formation will still be offered in fall.

Due to the demand for our Summer Program we will be giving priority registration to Holy Family parishioners from March 3-31. During that time non-parishioner families will need to register their children for a spot on the waitlist. After March 31 non-parishioner families may register as usual. You will receive a confirmation email by April 9 to update you on the status of your spot.

Registration closed for 2025-2026 First Reconciliation & First Communion

Registration is now closed for First Reconciliation and First Communion Preparation for Catholic school students entering grades 2-4. Families who wish to participate in sacraments need to reach out to Elementary & Middle School Faith Formation Coordinator Trisha Zimmerman at trishaz@hffdl.org.

Building the Domestic Church Sessions for Parents

Learn how to take the Catholic faith out of the doors of the church and into your home at our Building the Domestic Church sessions! Each session will include a lesson by one of our priests on a topic related to raising your family in the Catholic faith, a sharing from one our parish couples, a challenge to live out the topic, and free resources to take home. Sessions meet throughout the year on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 pm in Sacred Heart School Hall. ***You can attend as many sessions as you would like, no registration required. *** To see upcoming sessions, please click the button below.

Personal Safety: Safeguarding Lessons

In the pastoral effort to respond to the need for the protection of children and youth, the Archdiocese of Milwaukee requires that all children and youth in grades K4-12 in schools and faith formation programs be given additional information on how to protect themselves and become aware of their surroundings.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word

We are currently offering Children’s Liturgy of the Word at the:

  • St. Peter 8:30 am Sunday Mass (beginning the first weekend of October)
  • Our Risen Savior 10:00 am Sunday Mass on the first Sunday of the month (beginning the first weekend of October)

We are still looking for volunteers to assist in offering this ministry at our Sunday Masses at 9:00 am at St. Mary (Sacred Heart), 10:00 am at Our Risen Savior, and 10:00 am at Holy Family.
