Evening of Recollection: How to Forgive Ourselves & Others

Join us on Tuesday, January 8, 6:30-7:45pm at Sacred Heart Church for this beautiful evening!

Fr. Allan Weinert, who grew up in Kewaskum, Wisconsin, presents this evening of recollection to help us prepare for Lent. He now serves as the Parochial Vicar at St. Alphonsus / St. Mary's Assumption Parish in New Orleans, Louisiana.

As we prepare to enter into Lent, this is a good time to look at the direction and meaning we have set for our lives. What do we want to do to make our life better for ourselves and for those with whom we live? Lent, and the transition from the old to the new year, gives us an opportunity to measure ourselves. What did we resolve during the past year? Has anything changed inside of us? Such introspection is a sign of our desire to live the best way possible for ourselves and for others.
