    Screening of “The Sound of Freedom”

    January is National Human Trafficking Prevention Month. To bring awareness, even in the Fond du Lac County area, the Respect Life Committee will show the powerful movie "Sound of Freedom" on Thursday, January 18 at 2:00 pm and again at 6:00 pm at Holy Family Hall.   Those who attend the 2:00 pm screening will have the opportunity to hear a talk from ASTOP Sexual Abuse Center Executive Director Isabel Williston, Fond du Lac Area Women's Fund Executive Director Jolene Schatzinger, and Solutions Center Domestic Violence Child and Teen Program Coordinator Rachel Wichowski on human trafficking following the film.   At both screenings, Fr.   • Screening of “Quo Vadis”

    Love biblical epics? Come watch "Quo Vadis" and imagine what life for early Christians in Rome might have been like. Holy Family will offer a screening of the film on Monday, January 15 at Holy Family Hall, beginning promptly at 6:00 pm. The screening will include an intermission, as it is 2 hours, 54 minutes long. Watch the film to prepare for the Holy Family Monday night class “Epic: The Early Church,” beginning on January 29, or view as a one-time event!     Holy Family will show the movie Lifemark on Thursday, November 16 at 6:00 pm in Holy Family Hall. This film follows a young man who learns that his birth mother almost aborted him, but instead chose to give him up for adoption. Fr. Kevin will answer questions and lead a short discussion session.

    Holy Family will host a Volunteer Appreciation Packer Party on Sunday, November 12 in the Holy Family Hall following the 10:00 am Mass. We want to celebrate all of the volunteers from all of our sites. If you volunteer in any capacity at the parish, be it as an Usher, Choir Member, Catechist, or with lawn care or bringing Communion to the homebound, we want to celebrate you and your family! We will have a main dish, snacks, and soda available and the Packer vs. Steelers Game playing on the large wall screen in the hall. Door prizes will be drawn at half-time. Michael Malucha in Holy Family Hall from 5:30 to 6:15 pm on Monday, August 14.  After the presentation, join us for our vigil Mass for the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

    “Eucharist” Summer Book Read

    This summer, reintroduce yourself to the ancient meaning and power of the Eucharist when you join Fr. Michael Malucha for our Summer Book Read of "Eucharist" by Bishop Robert Barron. The book read will take place Wednesdays, July 5-26 at either 6:30 to 7:30 am or 6:30 to 7:30 pm in Holy Family Hall.  Through a threefold analysis of the Eucharist as sacred meal, sacrifice, and Real Presence, Bishop Barron draws readers into the profound truth flowing out of Jesus’ words at the Last Supper: “Take, eat; this is my body. . . Drink from it, all of you; for this is my blood of the covenant. You can sign up to attend the 6:30 to 7:30 am session, 6:30 to 7:30 pm session, or attend either the morning or the evening based on your schedule.
