Screening of “The Sound of Freedom”

January is National Human Trafficking Prevention Month. To bring awareness, even in the Fond du Lac County area, the Respect Life Committee will show the powerful movie “Sound of Freedom” on Thursday, January 18 at 2:00 pm and again at 6:00 pm at Holy Family Hall.
 
Those who attend the 2:00 pm screening will have the opportunity to hear a talk from ASTOP Sexual Abuse Center Executive Director Isabel Williston, Fond du Lac Area Women’s Fund Executive Director Jolene Schatzinger, and Solutions Center Domestic Violence Child and Teen Program Coordinator Rachel Wichowski on human trafficking following the film.
 
At both screenings, Fr. Matthew will lead a short discussion and you will have the opportunity to purchase fair trade items supporting victims of human trafficking.
