Pray for our country during our Eucharistic Procession and Rosary Rally at 2:00 pm Sunday, October 8. The Procession with the Blessed Sacrament will begin at St. Mary and end at Veterans Park on the corner of Main Street and Western Avenue. In the event of inclement weather, the rally will take place at St. Mary's Church.
Holy Family Catholic Community, Marian University, and the Fond du Lac County Area United Way will host a screening of the affecting documentary "The Invisible Class" at 5:30 pm in the Marian University Stayer Center. This documentary explores what it is like to be homeless in America, addressing its systemic causes, and challenging stereotypes. All are encouraged to attend, particularly those who are interested in volunteering at or supporting the Holy Family Warming Shelter. Join us throughout the night from Tuesday, October 31-Wednesday, November 1 as we pray for peace for all nations at our Solemnity of All Saints All-Night Vigil. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will take place following the 7:00 pm Vigil Mass on Tuesday, October 31 at Holy Family Church, and end with benediction at 6:45 am on Wednesday, November 1 prior to the 7:00 am Mass. Throughout the night, you are welcome to come to Holy Family to adore our Lord. The Sacred Heart Adoration Chapel will remain open at its regularly scheduled hours.
Middle- and high-school students are invited to join our Holy Family Youth Group throughout the month for activities like our Christ the King Party with Custard, "Gratitude & Thanksgiving" night, birdfeeder ornament making, and volunteering. The Youth Group is open to any student in middle and high school and typically meets on Thursday nights at Sacred Heart School from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. See poster to check times and locations. Holy Family will host a Volunteer Appreciation Packer Party on Sunday, November 12 in the Holy Family Hall following the 10:00 am Mass. We want to celebrate all of the volunteers from all of our sites. If you volunteer in any capacity at the parish, be it as an Usher, Choir Member, Catechist, or with lawn care or bringing Communion to the homebound, we want to celebrate you and your family! We will have a main dish, snacks, and soda available and the Packer vs. Steelers Game playing on the large wall screen in the hall. Door prizes will be drawn at half-time. Holy Family will show the movie Lifemark on Thursday, November 16 at 6:00 pm in Holy Family Hall. This film follows a young man who learns that his birth mother almost aborted him, but instead chose to give him up for adoption. Fr. Kevin will answer questions and lead a short discussion session.
Join your fellow parishioners on the Holy Family Bus Trip to the Women of Christ Conference on Saturday, November 18. The bus will board in the Holy Family Church parking lot at 6:15 am and leave at 6:30 pm and travel down to the Brookfield Conference Center. The Women of Christ Conference provides women the opportunity to celebrate their Catholic faith with women from throughout the area. The day will include confession, Mass, Adoration, a vendor market, and dynamic talks from speakers like Fr. John LoCoco and Dr. Mary Healy. The bus trip will cost $25 per person (an additional $1.75 processing fee if paying online).
