  • Holy Family Quilters Group

    Holy Family St. Mary Church 59 E. Merrill Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, United States

    The Holy Family Quilters meet every Tuesday morning from 8:00 to 10:00 am in the St. Mary's Church basement. All the quilts that we make go to the less fortunate people in the area. We also make lap quilts for the area nursing homes. We can use small pieces or yardage of new material to make the tops and clean blankets and mattress pads, also any sewing items.  These items can be dropped off at the church office, or call Karen at (262) 629-4193 for pickup.

  • Blessed Bites

    Every Tuesday at the Holy Family Warming Shelter, 73 E. First St., those in need can get a free to-go meal, canned goods, and hygiene/cleaning items through the Blessed Bites program. Items are available from 4:00 to 4:30 pm - or until meals are gone. All who are in need are welcome. En Refugio de la Sagrada Familia, 73 E.   • St. Ambrose Men’s Group – That Man is You!

    All men of the parish can start their Wednesday mornings off with the St. Ambrose Men's Group and the That Man is You! program. From September 10-December 10 and January 7-April 15, 2026, the group will meet in Holy Family North Hall at 5:30 am to enjoy breakfast and fellowship and learn more about their faith with That Man is You's "Becoming a Man After God's own Heart 2.0." That Man is You! honestly addresses the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers. The program harmonizes current social and medical science with the teachings of the Church and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of man fully alive! The morning will include a video from the program, small group discussion, and optional Mass at 7:00 am. The suggested donation to participate is $10. No registration is required!   • Grief Share: Surviving the Holidays

    Are you or someone you know grieving? The holiday season can be difficult for those who have lost a loved one. To help you through this time, Holy Family will host GriefShare's “Surviving the Holidays” seminar from 4:00 to 5:30 pm on Wednesday, December 3 in the Holy Family Board Room. The program will help participants learn how to deal with their emotions, what to do about traditions, how to survive social events, and how to find hope for the future. Talks will be recorded and posted online at a later date. On December 4, parents attending our Advent Priest Talk can bring their children to Holy Family Hall, where they will take an amazing journey into scripture with Jesus to experience the “Annunciation”. This hands-on interactive experience will make the story come alive and help focus on the true meaning of Advent. Durand can bring their children to Holy Family Hall, where they will take an amazing journey into scripture with Jesus to experience the “Annunciation”. Taking place from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, this hands-on interactive experience will make the story come alive and help focus on the true meaning of Advent. While this program is geared towards families with children in grades K-5, all are welcome!   This year's Advent Priest Talk Series will discuss how you can live out the joy of Advent through its symbols, traditions, and more! On December 4, Fr. Durand will discuss how to navigate Advent and its many symbols.     

  • First Saturday Devotion

    Join us at the 8:00 am Mass at Holy Family on the First Saturday of the month for the Five First Saturdays Devotion. The Five First Saturdays Devotion is one of the principal points on the urgent need for mankind to offer reparation and expiate for the many injuries that the Immaculate Heart of Mary suffers from the hands of both the impious and the indifferent man. The devotion consists of: going to Confession; receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion; saying five decades of the Rosary; and mediating for 15 minutes on the mysteries of the Rosary.

  • Faith Builders Club for Kids 2025-2026

    Parents and grandparents are invited to join their children and grandchildren at our Faith Builders Club for Kids on the first Sunday of each month October through March at the 10:00 am Mass at Holy Family Church. In this short, 15-minute program, kids will watch a video lesion and make a craft to take home with them. The 2025-2026 year's topics will be as follows: October 5: Pilgrims of Hope for the Jubilee Year November 2: St. Francis Cabrini December 7: St. Nicholas (Take-home) January 4: Epiphany: The Magi’s Adoration February 1: Blessed are the Pure of Heart March 1: St. John the Evangelist Summer Take-home: Our Lady of Fatima  

  • The Living Nativity

    The Living Nativity is back and grander than ever before! Come see our beautiful retelling of the story of Jesus's birth with live animals, music from our choirs, and more in this popular event at 4:00 pm on Sunday, December 7 at Holy Family Church. This year's production is sponsored by Catholic Financial Life, a Trusted Fraternal Life Brand. Those in attendance will be guided through the story by a narrator, voiced by Pruess, and the beautiful music of the Holy Family Choirs and string musicians. Songs featured this year include familiar Christmas carols as well as “The Wexford Carol,” “Brightest and Best,” “We Three Kings,” and the famous “Hallelujah Chorus.” Holy Family staff, clergy, and volunteers, from children to adults, will don costumes to transform into the who’s who of the Nativity—shepherds, the Inn Keeper and his wife, angels, Wise Men, and of course, the Holy Family, portrayed by a family from the parish who recently welcomed a baby.
