Free Showing of “The Passion of the Christ”
Odyssey Cinema & Social Fond du Lac 8 1131 West Scott St., Fond du Lac, WI, United StatesMark Holy Saturday when you join our parish for a free showing of the powerful film The Passion of the Christ at the Odyssey Cinema & Social Fond du Lac 8, 1131 West Scott St. on Saturday, April 19. The showing, sponsored by Holy Family, will take place at 10:00 am, with doors and concessions opening at 9:30 am. No tickets are needed to attend, and the film will be shown in multiple theater auditoriums. The film runs two hours and seven minutes. In this powerful retelling of Christ’s crucifixion, based on the New Testament, Judas hastens Jesus’ (Jim Caviezel) downfall by betraying him to the Roman authorities. As his mother, Mary (Maia Morgenstern), Mary Magdalene (Monica Bellucci), and his disciples look on in anguish, Jesus is condemned to death. Enduring brutal torture, he carries his cross to Calvary, where he is nailed to it and left to die. In his final moments, he offers one last act of grace before drawing his last breath.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Holy Family Prayer Garden 271 Fourth Street Way, Fond du Lac, WI, United StatesAll children are invited to join us for our Annual Easter Egg Hunt following the 10:00 am Mass at Holy Family Church on Easter Sunday, April 20! Children will search our Prayer Garden for the hundreds of eggs we will have hidden, and in the event of inclement weather, they will hunt in Holy Family Hall. Children are welcome to bring their own baskets, but bags will be provided.

Grief Share
Holy Family Board Room 271 Fourth Street Way, Fond du Lac, WI, United StatesAre you struggling with grief? Holy Family will host “Grief Share,” a 13-week support group and seminar designed to help people rebuild their lives after loss. The group will meet Mondays, February 3 to April 28 from 4:00 to 5:30 pm in the Holy Family Board Room. Holy Family Quilters Group
Holy Family St. Mary Church 59 E. Merrill Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, United StatesThe Holy Family Quilters meet every Tuesday morning from 8:00 to 10:00 am in the St. Mary's Church basement. All the quilts that we make go to the less fortunate people in the area. We also make lap quilts for the area nursing homes. We can use small pieces or yardage of new material to make the tops and clean blankets and mattress pads, also any sewing items. These items can be dropped off at the church office, or call Karen at (262) 629-4193 for pickup.

Men’s Group – That Man is You!
Holy Family Catholic Church 271 Fourth Street Way, Fond du Lac, WI, United StatesYou are invited to join dozens of men every Wednesday morning from 5:30 to 7:00 am in the Holy Family North Hall, 271 Fourth Street Way, for Men’s Group January 8 to April 30, 2025. The St. Ambrose Men’s Group hosts “That Man is You – Apostle of the New Springtime” every Wednesday. The morning includes a full breakfast, a video for the program at 6:00 am, and a small group discussion. That Man is You! honestly addresses the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers. The program harmonizes current social and medical science with the teachings of the Church and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of man fully alive! No registration is required – you can join at any time! There is a cost of $15 for the book which will be paid for at the first class.
