    Every Tuesday at the Holy Family Warming Shelter, 73 E. First St., those in need can get a free to-go meal, canned goods, and hygiene/cleaning items through the Blessed Bites program.     You are invited to join dozens of men every Wednesday morning from 5:30 to 7:00 am in the Holy Family North Hall, 271 Fourth Street Way, for Men’s Group September 9-December 16, 2026. That Man is You! honestly addresses the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers. The program harmonizes current social and medical science with the teachings of the Church and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of man fully alive! This year's theme, the Revelation of the Father, calls men to take the next step in their leadership. It moves beyond good intentions and into legacy. This journey prepares a man to lay foundations that will outlast him. Foundations strong enough to carry his children, his grandchildren, and a culture hungry for truth. The morning will include a video from the program, small group discussion, and optional Mass at 7:00 am. The suggested donation to participate is $10 if you are interested in a workbook.     Join Holy Family and St. Mary’s Springs Academy in celebrating those who make a difference in our Catholic community at our Cor Unum Awards! The Cor Unum Awards will take place on Wednesday, September 16 at Holy Family Church, and begin with hors d’oeuvres & drinks from 5:30 to 6:45 pm, followed by our Cor Unum Awards Prayer Service at 7:00.   • Women’s Ministry: Sharing Our Journey

    Women of the parish are invited to attend our Women's Ministry “Sharing Our Journey” event on Thursday, September 17, from 5:40 to 8:00 pm at Holy Family Church. The night will begin with the Rosary and Mass, followed by refreshments and a social in the Hall. Holy Family Priest, Fr. Nicholas Waddell, will share a talk on “The Vocation of Women: An Icon Against Idolatry.” After, we will have an activity and fellowship. About the talk:  Ever since the Fall, humanity has a proclivity to build idols. Everything that once was a reminder of our place as creatures becomes defaced in our attempt to escape God. Man and woman were created in harmony – but this too has become a source of conflict. Women, the height of creation, remind man that he is not God. The vocation of Women is to make manifest the beauty and glory of being a creature and because of this, women become a splendid Icon against Idolatry.
