Building Your Domestic Church Sessions for Parents

October 9 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Learn how to take the Catholic faith out of the doors of the church and into your home at our Building the Domestic Church sessions! Each session will include a lesson by one of our priests on a topic related to raising your family in the Catholic faith, a sharing from one our parish couples, a challenge to live out the topic, and free resources to take home. Sessions meet throughout the year on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 pm in Sacred Heart School Hall.

***You can attend as many or as few sessions as you would like, no registration required. ***

Fr. Kevin Durand: Dealing with an Inclusive Driven Society
What really is inclusivism and what does our Church say about it? What about relativism? What do these things have to do with the Truth? How do we combat false ideas that seem to sound good?

Is your family living out the Gospel message in both word and deed? Find out how your family can serve others living out the Gospel message of love and compassion in your community.

How to Prioritize Your Family Calendar for Peace
Every family is pulled in so many directions, do you ever feel overwhelmed? How much is too much? How to do you make those tough decisions about how much to let the kids do and when is it too much? The Church wants you to have peace, how to find it with a busy schedule.

Do you struggle with a spouse, family, or extended family that is not Catholic or maybe not even Christian? What obligations do you have to family and when does faith have to come first. How to still have good relationships when you don’t share faith.

What do we really believe about Hell as Catholics? Do all Christians believe this too? Should you be talking to your kids about hell?
