Beware: Scamming attempts through text message

On July 11, parishioners shared with us that they received text messages from someone posing as Fr. Ryan Pruess and asking for assistance. These messages are not legitimate. Please remember that Holy Family clergy and staff will never initiate an email, call, or text to request gift cards, or bank account/credit card information. If you receive such a message or call, please do not reply, but delete it immediately.

El 11 de julio, los feligreses compartieron con nosotros que recibieron mensajes de texto de alguien que se hace pasar por el P. Ryan Pruess y pidiendo ayuda. Estos mensajes no son legítimos. Recuerde que el clero y el personal de la Sagrada Familia nunca  les enviaran  un correo electrónico, una llamada o un mensaje de texto para solicitar tarjetas de regalo o información de cuenta bancaria/tarjeta de crédito. Si recibe un mensaje o una llamada de este tipo, no responda, elimínelo inmediatamente.
