The Living Nativity is back and grander than ever before! Come see our beautiful retelling of the story of Jesus’s birth with live animals, music from our choirs, and more in this popular event at 4:00 pm on Sunday, December 7 at Holy Family Church.
Those in attendance will be guided through the story by a narrator, voiced by Pruess, and the beautiful music of the Holy Family Choirs and string musicians. Songs featured this year include familiar Christmas carols as well as “The Wexford Carol,” “Brightest and Best,” “We Three Kings,” and the famous “Hallelujah Chorus.”
Holy Family staff, clergy, and volunteers, from children to adults, will don costumes to transform into the who’s who of the Nativity—shepherds, the Inn Keeper and his wife, angels, Wise Men, and of course, the Holy Family, portrayed by a family from the parish who recently welcomed a baby.
As no manger scene is complete without animals, sheep, goats, donkeys, and camels from area farms will also star in production, walking up the center aisle of the church with the help of “shepherds.”
Tickets for The Living Nativity will go on sale at 8:00 am on Monday, November 3 at
hometowntickets.com/hf and at the Holy Family Parish Office, 271 Fourth Street Way, Fond du Lac. Tickets are $18 each plus tax, and children age 3 and under are free but still must reserve a seat. Those interested in attending are encouraged to purchase their tickets early, as the Living Nativity has sold out every year.
On December 7, doors will open 30 minutes prior to the start of the Living Nativity at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way. As tickets are general admission only, seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The event will be handicap accessible.
