Soup du Jour
March 22 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Purchase great soups donated by more than 20 Fond du Lac restaurants to benefit those in need when you come to Soup du Jour on Saturday, March 22 at Holy Family Church. More than a dozen soups will be available for purchase, with the proceeds benefiting the Holyland Food Pantry and the St. Vincent de Paul of FDL County. Soups will be available on a first come, first served basis beginning at 1:00 pm in the drive-thru line beneath the canopy entrance on the church’s south side. Soups will be $6 a cup or three for $15 – no cards accepted. Participating restaurants include: A & W Restaurant, Ala Roma, Avenue 795, Blue Line Tavern, Bob’s on the Avenue, Boda’s Restaurant & Catering, Downtown Deli – Donated by Elaine Graf- First Weber, Eden Catering, Faros Restaurant & Cocktails, Fat Joe’s Burgers and Brew, Friar Tuck’s, Gilles Frozen Custard, Oasis Family Restaurant, Red Cabin at Green Acres, Rolling Meadows Restaurant, The Diner, The Hive/ Juan’s Catering, The New Stretch Restaurant, The Sweet & Salty Pig, Theo’s 24, and Tucker’s Hamburgers.
Michael Schaefer and Fr. Matthew Kirk, as well as Holy Family Human Concerns Commission, Pastoral Council, Hispanic Ministry, and Staff will also contribute soup.
If you are interested in volunteering to assist at our Soup du Jour event, we are looking for people to help scoop and package soup at 1:00 pm in Holy Family Hall on Friday, March 21, as well as for volunteers to act as carhops on Saturday, March 22 at 1:00 pm.
