As we begin the Lenten season, join Fr. Ryan Pruess in Holy Family Hall on Sunday, February 22 following the 8:00 am and 10:00 am Masses for a hot breakfast and a short presentation on the dignity of every person. Please bring a dish to pass! After, children in 1st-5th grade can stay for Lent-a-Palooza, a festival-style event featuring Lenten-themed games and activities, while their parents attend our Parish Mission Talk with best-selling author and award-winning broadcaster Sonja Corbitt from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. On Thursday, January 22, learn about the impact of addiction, the importance of breaking the stigma surrounding it, and the resources available to those battling it from FDL County Drug Court Coordinator Jennifer Laning, CSAC, Gratitude Club Manager Ellen Buretta, and others who work with those suffering from the disease. Taking place in Holy Family Hall at 6:30 pm, the presentation will also include a talk from a parish family who lost a loved one to addiction.
