As many of you know, my first official teaching job was at FACES (Fond du Lac Area Catholic Education System in FDL) St. Patrick Campus in fourth grade. Two years later, I was transferred to the St. Joseph Campus and began teaching kindergarten in the same room I attended kindergarten! Then I became a part of St. Mary Springs Academy, when FACES and Springs joined as a P3-Grade 12 Catholic School System. Before joining the staff at Holy Family as Elementary Formation Coordinator, I had been involved in parish life in a variety of ministries including teaching at the Faith Formation Summer Program, Women’s Ministry and Wedding Ministry. I am excited how my parish ministry now mingles with my home life in my new role as Director.
I am glad that I listened and was open to God’s plan for me. I never thought that God would call me to a different vocation, but He did! So after 21 years at in Catholic Education, I am blessed to be able to help lead Holy Family closer to Jesus Christ.
