Hi, my name is Michelle O’Brien and I am the Director of Worship here at Holy Family.
I graduated from Marian University in 2005 with a degree in Music Education and Theology. For eight years, I served as a liturgical musician at Holy Family Catholic Community and in 2023, I had the pleasure of encouraging others to share their love of the Lord through song as Director of St. Peter’s Choir. Before coming to Holy Family, I worked at St. Mary’s Springs Academy as the K-3 music teacher, where I sought to foster a love of music in our youth, and helped to orchestrate the Christmas concerts, school liturgies, and direct middle school musicals.
I am a passionate mother of 4 amazing kids who keep me busy and make me laugh and smile every day. I am also passionate about exercise, nutrition, and living a healthy lifestyle. Outside of my music ministry, you can find me outside walking, hiking, roller blading, cooking, and reading.
It has been my goal for many years to pursue my love of liturgical music and worship, and I am grateful and excited to live out my joy and passion for our Catholic faith here at Holy Family.
