All mom's and children are invited to join the Moms Group! Meeting on Thursdays from 9:30 to 10:30 am in Holy Family Hall, the Moms Group is an informal gathering where moms can enjoy fellowship and children can play together.
Join us at the 8:00 am Mass at Holy Family on the First Saturday of the month for the Five First Saturdays Devotion. The Five First Saturdays Devotion is one of the principal points on the urgent need for mankind to offer reparation and expiate for the many injuries that the Immaculate Heart of Mary suffers from the hands of both the impious and the indifferent man. The devotion consists of: going to Confession; receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion; saying five decades of the Rosary; and mediating for 15 minutes on the mysteries of the Rosary.
Parents and grandparents are invited to join their children and grandchildren at our Faith Builders Club for Kids on the second Sunday of each month October through March at the 9:00 am Mass at St. Mary (later Sacred Heart). In this short, 15-minute program, kids will watch a video lesion and make a craft to take home with them. The 2025-2026 year's topics will be as follows: October 12: Pilgrims of Hope for the Jubilee Year November 9: St. Francis Cabrini December 14: St. Nicholas (Take-home) January 11: Epiphany: The Magi’s Adoration February 8: Blessed are the Pure of Heart Summer Take-home: Our Lady of Fatima
Holy Family will host “GriefShare,” a 13-week support group and seminar designed to help people rebuild their lives after loss on Mondays, February 2 to April 27 from 4:00 to 5:30 pm in the Holy Family Board Room. You must register but can join the program after the start date. To sign up, please email Deacon Dale Paczkowski at dalep@hffdl.org.
Support our Holy Family high school students’ trip to the Steubenville Youth Conference this June by eating at Culver’s at 969 E. Johnson St. from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, February 9. Purchases made in the restaurant or through the drive-thru count. A portion of the sales from that night will benefit the students. Donations are appreciated!
The Holy Family Quilters meet every Tuesday morning from 8:00 to 10:00 am in the St. Mary's Church basement. All the quilts that we make go to the less fortunate people in the area. We also make lap quilts for the area nursing homes. We can use small pieces or yardage of new material to make the tops and clean blankets and mattress pads, also any sewing items. These items can be dropped off at the church office, or call Karen at (262) 629-4193 for pickup.
Every Tuesday at the Holy Family Warming Shelter, 73 E. First St., those in need can get a free to-go meal, canned goods, and hygiene/cleaning items through the Blessed Bites program. Items are available from 4:00 to 4:30 pm - or until meals are gone. All who are in need are welcome. En Refugio de la Sagrada Familia, 73 E. The entire parish is invited to join us as we kick off our Holy Family Parish Mission with Lent-a-Palooza! The night will begin with a potluck in Holy Family Hall from 5:30 to 6:15 pm. Please bring a dish to pass! After, children in 1st-5th grade can stay for Lent-a-Palooza, a festival-style event featuring Lenten-themed games and activities, while their parents attend our Parish Mission Talk with best-selling author and award-winning broadcaster Sonja Corbitt from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.
