Our new crucifix has arrived at Holy Family Church! Through the generosity of our benefactors, our new crucifix was designed to fit harmoniously within the church’s architecture and will be suspended over the altar, so it is visible to all entering the church. In celebration of Pentecost, we will bless the new crucifix at the 4:00 pm Mass on Saturday, June 7. We hope you will join us for this celebration!
The Holy Family Quilters meet every Tuesday morning from 8:00 to 10:00 am in the St. Mary's Church basement. All the quilts that we make go to the less fortunate people in the area. We also make lap quilts for the area nursing homes. We can use small pieces or yardage of new material to make the tops and clean blankets and mattress pads, also any sewing items. These items can be dropped off at the church office, or call Karen at (262) 629-4193 for pickup.
Every Tuesday at the Holy Family Warming Shelter, 73 E. First St., those in need can get a free to-go meal, canned goods, and hygiene/cleaning items through the Blessed Bites program. Items are available from 4:00 to 4:30 pm - or until meals are gone. All who are in need are welcome. En Refugio de la Sagrada Familia, 73 E. This June, our High School Youth Group will enjoy games, movies, and the outdoors when they meet at Sacred Heart School! On Wednesday, June 11, join us for outdoor games! Please check in at the school and come outside if the weather cooperates. On Wednesday, June 25, high school students and their families can attend our Outdoor Family Movie Night! Bring your favorite snacks to share as well as your own lawn chairs and blankets. We will move the movie indoors in the event of rain. All mom's and children are invited to join the Moms Group! Meeting on Thursdays from 9:30 to 10:30 am in Holy Family Hall, the Moms Group is an informal gathering where moms can enjoy fellowship and children can play together.
