My name is Mary Carol Zunker. I’ve been a parishioner within the Fond du Lac Catholic community since 1977 when my husband, David, and I moved here from Milwaukee. David and I have three grown children: Andrew (Chicago), Cristine (Pewaukee), Angela (Pewaukee) and four granddaughters: Abigail, Sophia, Madeline and Charlotte. Oh, and I should add — two Golden Retrievers, Scout and Tracker. Being involved in parish life has always been important to me. Some of my most special memories have been as a Religious Education/Christian Formation catechist for some 20 years. It’s amazing how spiritually uplifting being a catechist has been for me. I thank God I had this opportunity and I treasure all the students in my classes from elementary through high school grades. My working career has been as an Instructional Library Media Specialist. It began at Saints Mary & Joseph School (three years) and then at F.A.C.E.S. – St. Joseph Campus (two years). Later I joined the Oshkosh Area School District and retired after 19 years in 2013. My retirement soon included a “retirement job” as a receptionist at St. Francis home for two years. Now you can find me behind the Reception Desk at the Holy Family Parish Office. I look forward to serving all of you!
