Do you struggle with consistency in prayer? Or finding words for prayer? Would you like to enter more into the liturgical seasons and the prayer of the universal Church?
By tradition going back to early Christian times, the Liturgy of the Hours makes holy the whole course of the day and night by the praises of God. Join us as Dr. Mike Brummond, doctorate in Sacred Theology, explains the Liturgy of the Hours, the impact it can have on our spiritual life, and the practical tools to begin praying it.
Dr. Brummond will speak at Holy Family from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 21 and 9:00 am to noon on Saturday, October 22. On October 21, you will learn about the Liturgy of the Hours and October 22, you will go through the structure and the character of the Liturgy of the Hours, as well as the mechanics of Morning Evening Prayer.
