I am delighted to be the Director of Parish Operations for Holy Family Catholic Community and certainly enjoy working with the priests, parish staff and parishioners of the largest Catholic parish in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee! This ministry focuses on image building, increasing parish membership and building a strong stewardship of time, talent and treasure. Some of the things we have been working on and which are detailed in our new strategic plan are:
  • Ensuring that Holy Family is a welcoming and engaging faith community for all.
  • Having excellent communication through parish publications, our website, social media, email contact and video presentations.
  • Working collaboratively with all departments to provide programs, events and initiatives that increase parish membership and involvement.
  • Building relationships that will enhance the procurement of significant financial contributions to support all the ministries of Holy Family Catholic Community, now and into the future.

I have been privileged to minister in Catholic settings for nearly forty years. I graduated from Dominican College, with a B.A., Summa Cum Laude, in History, Education and Music. I have a Master's Degree from Cardinal Stritch University in Educational Leadership. The majority of my career has been spent in Catholic education, having been a music teacher at Presentation School and St. Mary and Joseph School, and then having taught sixth grade at FACES. I served as the Director of Development at St. Mary's Springs High School and as a teacher in the Theology Department, as well as coaching cheerleading and being the director of Music Liturgy Choir. In 2002, I was asked to serve as a parish consultant for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee for Dodge, Fond du Lac and Sheboygan counties. In 2008, I became principal of St. Mary School in West Bend and then went on to serve as the principal of Catholic East Elementary in Milwaukee, where I led a team that increased enrollment and financial donations over 500% in four years.

I have been married to Dr. Jeffrey Kraig, a local dentist, for forty one years. We have lived in Fond du Lac since 1977 when Jeff bought a dental practice here after graduating from Loyola School of Dentistry in Chicago. We have been members of Holy Family since 1977. We have two children and three grandchildren. Both of our daughters graduated from St. Mary's Springs Academy and were the valedictorian of the class of 1997 and 2001. Our daughter, Courtney, is married to Angelo and lives in Chicago. Courtney and Angelo have two children, Zoe and Jack, who attend a Catholic elementary school in Chicago. Courtney is a teacher at her children's school and Angelo is a general manager of a large company. Our younger daughter, Lindsey, is married to Steve and they recently moved back to Fond du Lac and joined Holy Family Parish. Lindsey is a school and employment law attorney, practicing with a Milwaukee firm. Steve is on the marketing team at Johnsonville Sausage. Lindsey and Steve have one child, George, who will attend St. Mary's Springs Academy in the future and are expecting another child this fall!

I love to read in my spare time and spend time with my family at every opportunity! I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to work in various Catholic ministries during my career! Holy Family is a unique parish with amazing parishioners. It is a joy to come to work each day. I am excited to continue to lead the development of a culture of excellence in faith and service at Holy Family and will pledge to continue to improve and grow our parish to be the best it can be! May God continue to bless you with all that is good!

"For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope. Then when you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will hear you. When you search for me, you will find me; if you seek me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:11-13
