Overview & Pastoral Care Directory
Don Mueller John Dana S. Stella Marie Karls|
Vision: Our Pastoral Care ministry strives to invite and inspire our parishioners to live God’s works of mercy and compassion: visiting the sick and imprisoned, burying the dead, consoling, comforting, listening and responding to those affected by these sufferings or conditions. GOALS: I. Be aware of and care for sick, isolated, abused and lonely parishioners. II. Minister to the dying and grieving in a personal way. III. Integrate a “restorative justice” approach (seeking healing for victims, offenders, families, community) in our ministry to all those affected by crime. IV. Explore the development of new parish ministry to better serve the people of our faith community (e.g. those affected by addictions, Spiritual Directors, homosexuals, etc.) |
Food and ComfortStarting immediately parishioners can receive, on a temporary basis, home-delivered, hot meals three days a week if they are sick, grieving or recuperating from surgery or childbirth. There would be no cost. Contact either Julie, 539-6412 or email mjnett@att.net or Betty, 921-6644. |
Spiritual Companions Program LaunchAlong the journey of life a spiritual companion (or spiritual director) can assist us to listen to the Spirit and accompany us into the mystery of God’s loving presence. There are experienced and certified people in our area who are willing to offer this service. If you are interested or want more details see the brochure below, or contact Don at the parish office, 921-0580. 1_Brochure___Spiritual_Companion.pdf |

Director of Pastoral Care 920-921-0580, ext. 139 dmueller@hffdl.org Originally from rural Random Lake, I hold a Masters degree in Theology from St. Francis Seminary in Milwaukee. In 2000, my wife Cheryl and I moved to Fond du Lac. We have three grown children and three grandchildren. I enjoy sports, speaking Spanish and spending time with family and friends. As Council President for the St. Vincent de Paul Society, I oversee the store manager and promote the Society in the county on a volunteer basis. With 35 years of ministry experience, I treasure planning a fitting farewell with families at the death of a loved one. |

Minister of Care 920-921-0580, ext. 227 jdana@hffdl.org I have been a Fond du Lac native all my life. I attended St. Mary's grade school, and graduated from L.P. Goodrich High School. I served in the United States Army as a medical supply clerk. After my military service, I graduated from Moraine Park Technical College with an Associate Degree in Accounting. I enjoy gardening, traveling, music (going to musicals and concerts) and attending plays. I am a member of the Knights of Columbus and The Fond du Lac Senior Center. I am active in the Church as a cantor, greeter, and Eucharistic Minister. I find my ministering with the people in the parish a very rewarding experience. |

Minister of Care 920-921-0580 srstella@charter.net I was born and raised in Waunakee, Wisconsin. After entering the convent I furthered my education at Marian College to become a teacher. I taught for 37 years in Wisconsin, Illinois, and New York. Retired from teaching in 1995, I started working in Pastoral Care ministry that I thoroughly enjoy. My special hobbies are: going for walks, reading and playing cards. I also enjoy cooking and baking in my spare time. Whenever I have a chance, I visit my family. I set time aside each day to study Scripture and pray. This is important to me as I feel the need to give part of my day to God. |
